Nope! Just open SurfPulse and start checking. You can even post reports anonymously — we use a friendly little sea-creature avatar to keep things fun. Accounts are only needed for our admin crew.
🎯How does the score work?+
We blend live ocean data (wave height, wind, tide, daylight) with fresh surfer reports into one number from 1 to 10. Recent reports from real people in the water count more than old ones — so the score reflects right now, not yesterday.
⚡How fast do reports update?+
Surfer reports show up instantly. Weather and ocean conditions refresh every 15 minutes — and if you open a spot whose data is stale, we grab a fresh forecast on the spot.
📍Which spots are covered?+
Right now we cover the breaks along Costa Rica's Guanacaste coast. As more locals join in, we'll add new spots around the world.
